itotheN is an international development consulting organization that aims to provide science-informed, data-backed and context specific advisory on the early formation of human minds for more successful societies. Business & Consulting Fellowship in International Development

 

itotheN is looking for intellectually curious, diligent and entrepreneurial individuals interested in the intersection of consulting, business strategy and international development. The work of the Business & Consulting Fellow will primarily focus on conducting business research and analysis in support of evolving business plans, contributing to the prototype of a consulting product, potentially piloting its application and leading business development research. 

 

As a social enterprise in the very early stages of formation, itotheN fellows have the opportunity to support other activities such as communications, strategy, recruiting, mentoring and research. Fellows are encouraged to seek opportunities to align their academic and professional goals with the organization’s mission.

 

The Business & Consulting Fellowship can be full-time or part-time in the summer with potential extension in the fall. If currently a student, itotheN can work with your college or university to assist with co-curricular requirements.

 

Compensation & Benefits

 

As a social enterprise in the very early stages of formation, itotheN cannot offer compensation for this fellowship. This fellowship in unpaid.

Qualifications

 

• Strong interest in the intersection of business and international development.

• Master’s degree or currently enrolled as a graduate student at a university. Preference will be given to those in relevant fields such as business administration, international business, economics, finance, public policy, government, global affairs, international development.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality business intelligence, research and analysis.

• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-driven, resourceful, comfortable building things from scratch, able to thrive in ambiguity, intuitive, open to course-correction, resilient to failure.

 

A PLUS if you have:

• Experience with global development programs, international donors or governments.

• Experience in consulting, research or start up organizations.

• Experience in a company’s business development or product building function.
